Winter is now upon us and New Year is fast becoming a dim and distant memory! So with all the Christmas treats and over-indulgences is it time rethink your training programme and do you need help to step your training up a gear, we've got the perfect solution....

Our Snowdon training weekends are the perfect way to check your fitness progress, boost your confidence and motivation, and meet other people who are facing the same challenges as you, as you prepare for your big adventure.

Hadrian's Wall Weekend, departing on 4 June 2010

Hadrian's Wall - Robin Hood's Sycamore TreeHadrian’s Wall originally ran from coast to coast and spanned 72 miles. Today we are left with only sections of this famous landmark, which cuts though the beautiful Northumberland National Park.

Starting at Lanercost Priory, we trek for 25 miles alongside the only remaining sections of the wall, admiring ancient monuments, beautiful scenery and the skill of the Roman engineers who built this famous landmark, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

London to Paris Cycle, departing on 5 May 2010

Cyclists on the London to Paris ChallengeCycling from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe. Passing through picturesque Kent countryside, we cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France, passing the famous battlefields of the Somme and Agincourt. With long days in the saddle and some strenuous hill-climbs, the sight of the Eiffel Tower, our finishing point, will evoke a real sense of achievement.

Our last day in Paris allows us to explore the streets of Paris and soak up the romantic atmosphere of this majestic city!

Classic Cols of the Tour de France, departing on 26 June 2010

Challenge yourself in the Alps!This short but extremely demanding 5-day cycle challenge takes us through the heart of the French Alps, tackling the toughest mountain climbs made famous by the Tour de France. Spectacular views of mountain peaks, alpine valleys and hanging glaciers make the long twisting climbs worthwhile! Our challenge ends with two of the toughest and most renowned ascents in the region: the demanding Col du Galibier and the steep hair-pin bends of Alpe D’Huez.

Conquering these mountains will earn you a life-long sense of achievement and give you something in common with the most elite cyclists in the past 100 years!

Mount Kenya Trek, departing on 25 June 2010

Stunning Kenyan vistaThe summit of Mount Kenya rises to 5199m and dominates the rich green farmland of Kenya’s Central Highland region. Surrounded by dense forest, rich in African flora and fauna, the central volcanic plug can be summated only by skilled technical climbers. The hardy trekker can reach the third highest peak, Point Lenana at 4985m, and it is this challenging route that we shall attempt.

Our trek takes us across the entire mountain range and its numerous bio-diverse ecosystems. From lush vegetation to barren rock, Mt Kenya has it all and it will, quite simply, take your breath away.

Trip of the Month

We are pleased to highlight our Volcano and Ice Cap Trek in Iceland as our trip of the month.

From volcanic craters and steaming vents in the earth to beautiful ice caps and glaciers, this is a fascinating trip. The trekking is challenging but incredibly rewarding, and the natural hot springs are a good incentive!

You won’t share these incredible landscapes with many other people – we really will be in wild country. This is a trip that suits experienced trekkers and keen beginners alike: Iceland is an unforgettable experience.
