Trip Extensions

We don’t do ‘holidays’ at Discover Adventure, the closest we come is to offer Trip Extensions after four of our challenges in Tanzania, China, Peru and Borneo. Each extension lasts for 3 or 4 days and allows you to unwind, relax and see more of the country you completed your challenged in.

Ngorongoro Safari Extension
This Safari is a great treat after the exertions of climbing Kilimanjaro. We are likely to see much of the wildlife synonymous with the African Plains in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. We will also see the local Masai.

Terracotta Warrior Extension
Undoubtedly one of China’s highlights, the Terracotta Warriors form a truly awesome sight with thousands of life-size figures of warriors, horses and chariots standing in battle formation. We base ourselves nearby in the ancient city of Xi’an.

Amazon Rainforest Extension
The Amazon rainforest lies only a short flight away from Cuzco. We stay in a lodge 4 hours upriver, well away from the modern world. If you have always wanted to experience this incredible habitat, don’t miss this opportunity.

Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Extension  
An unmissable opportunity to witness endangered orang-utans in their natural habitat. We travel on traditional riverboats into Tanjung Puting National Park (central Kalimantan) to visit orang-utan rehabilitation and research stations deep in the jungle - an incredible opportunity to see other elusive wildlife too!
