About the challenge
Join us for this fabulous trek around our capital city, taking in world-famous sights and less well-known corners as we trace our 4-mile route through London. This challenging day takes us west from Moorfield Eye Hospital through peaceful parks and alongside waterways, passing famous sights including Pudding Lane, St Paul's and the Globe as we walk through the heart of the city to our finish point at the London Eye on the Thames. There is also a tougher 14-mile walk available, starting and ending at the same points. There will be full support throughout the challenge with marshals and water stops along the route.

Those on our 4-mile walk for families will leave Moorfield Eye Hospital and head south, heading for the historic heart of the city. Passing the old financial centre of Cornhill, we pass the Monument and famous Pudding Lane, where the Great Fire of London started in 1666, before coming onto the banks of the River Thames by the striking St Magnus the Martyr Church. We then follow the Thames, enjoying landmarks such as the Shard, St Paul’s and the Globe, before reaching Hungerford Bridge and crossing to our finish point at the London Eye. There is time to celebrate with your fellow participants before returning home or continuing with sightseeing and enjoying all that London has to offer!
