Yes i agree a fantastic trip was had i think we all did soo BRILLIANT...

Really enjoyed meeting you all and im still smiling at the thought of our acheivement including the hard times like the day of the dreaded head wind....

Thanks PhotoDave for the fantastic photographs. You obviously put a lot of effort into taking the photos and the end result is brilliant. A great record of the trip. I had a great time on the trip and met a lot of very nice people. Everyone was into helping whenever there was a problem. A really great bunch of people. At the end of the ride someone said they wished the ride would go on and on as they were enjoying it so much. My mind agrees with this sentiment but my backside protests at the idea of further cycling. All the best to everyone.

BigDentistDave/Camera Dave/Mickey/Miles/Wayne/Graham/Nikki/Katie/Richard/Mark/All the Scots Girls plus anyone else not mentioned as i am sure i will have met you throughout the duration of the trip. Just to let you know my arse is still sore (one whole week later) but have thouroughly enjoyed meeting a wide and varied range of people. Without everyone being so positive and friendly i dont think we would have got there!

Anyway for the next challenge if you have not had enough punishment already- If you are interested there is a cyclosportive  event in Cumbria on the 3rd Sept (105 miles and loads of hills). Check out for the Cumberland Challenge on the web!

So Dave i gather you got your photo's sorted. If you could forward some to abbotthosen@hotmail.com it would be fab - and by the way Carlisle isnt far from Sheffield so get yourself and Mickey down for this next challenge.
