We are going to Ecuador on a cycling tour lasting over a week and will be camping in remote areas. People will be taking various gadgets such as cameras , phones and Garmin cycle computers.

The issue is recharging all these things. Does anyone have any experience or advice on what is best to take and what to avoid ? Are solar chargers the way to go ?

Thanks

Hi Andy,

With experience with my brother, he took solar chargers and battery chargers and found out that the battery ones charged up the gadgits a lot faster than solar. But they are heavier than solar. I know as I had to carry them.

The best web-site to go on, in my mind, is cotsworld(google it) to get address.

Hope this helps you out.

Paul
