Hi

It's all gone very quiet on the  Oct 29th Kili forum! It's only 24 weeks away. Is everybody busy fund raising or/and training yet?

Hello carole! yes it has a bit.. I for one have been a very busy bee fundrasing and training.. so far managing regular 3-4 mile walks with my dogs and once a week circuit training- still plenty of time to up my game there though. With 16 weeks to go I'll start following the regime I think. So far I've only managed to raise about £750 in sponsorship, but I am hoping to boost this with a supermarket collection next week and my whole family, who I haven't asked to donate yet! I've also just been given permission to tap my colleagues (and patients) for sponsorship, so hopefully I can generate some interest at work and boost the total that way. How is your fundraising going?

Roxy

Good luck with the fund raising. I'm doing the self payment option for the trip but will still be aiming to raise money for the Sussex Air Ambulance. Training yes, well I do go to the gym regularly and will be fitting in some long walks with a few hills (no mountains down south). Plan to go to The Brecon Beacons in June for a bit of training, then maybe Snowdonia in July. I too will follow the DA training programme.

Where has the time gone, just noticed that we are nearly at the 16 weeks to go mark. Need to start concentrating on training a bit more.

If anyone is out and about in the East Midlands and needs a training buddy let me know.

Just booked my tickets to come to London on the 28th. Is everyone else managing to make the slide show?

I've got lots of questions:-)

Hope to manage the slide show, it's not far for me to travel (coming from the south coast) but my second grandchild is expected around that time!

It's very quiet on the Forum and on Facebook, can only assume everybody is out there training.
