Our training weekends are the perfect way to check your fitness progress, boost your confidence and motivation, and meet other people who are facing the same challenges as you, as you prepare for your big adventure. We have two to choose from depending whether you are trekking or cycling.
Snowdon Training Weekend
We spend a strenuous weekend trekking in Snowdonia National Park, staying in a nearby hostel. Experienced Discover Adventure leaders will be on hand to advise you on clothing and equipment, and generally help you prepare for your challenge. We recommend choosing a training weekend approx 3 – 6 months before your challenge.

Cycle Training Weekend
We have devised a challenging cycle training weekend, you will be based in South Wiltshire and cycle nearly 90 miles over the 2 days taking in the Downs of South Wiltshire and the New Forest. We take time to show you some general bike maintenance, give you tips on how to improve your cycling technique – all geared towards improving your main challenge experience. We also recommend this training weekend is carried out 3 – 6 months before your challenge.
