How to Book
The quickest and easiest way to join an Open Challenge and raise money for a charity of your choice is to book online. Simply click the 'Book Now' button next to the trip of your choice.
We recommend signing up at least 9-12 months ahead of the trip to ensure enough time for fitness training and fundraising.
You should preferably have your passport with you when you are ready to book, but these details can be sent in within 2 weeks of signing up. Also we will require full contact details of your next of kin or an alternative emergency contact, if your next of kin is taking part in the Challenge with you.
A Medical Questionnaire forms part of your booking; if you have a medical history it may be worthwhile to jot a brief summary down beforehand. We also need to know the name(s) of any medication you are taking. We treat this information as highly confidential and therefore it is not passed on to any unrelated party.

Open Challenge Pricing Explained
Registration Fee: Guarantees your place on the trip; payable upon trip registration for both payment options. (It is non- refundable).
Fundraising Option: Raise the Minimum Fundraising Target and your charity will fund your Trip Cost. You will usually be asked to get all fundraising monies to the charity 10 weeks prior to departure.
We consistently price our Open Challenges so your chosen charity retains a high percentage of the Minimum Fundraising Target.
NB: On ‘bespoke’ challenges, the charity we run the trip for sets its own fundraising targets, etc. Contact them to find out their pricing structure before signing up.
Self-Payment Option: Fund your own Trip Cost and donate 100% of your fundraising – whatever amount – to your chosen charity. This is always an option on our Open Challenges.
Trip Cost: Trip Cost + Registration Fee covers your flights (where applicable, some trips exclude flights as part of the trip cost), transfers, meals, permits, accommodation, experienced leadership, medical back-up, trip support and lots more! Please see specific trip itineraries for details of what is included.
It's important that you understand how this works, and which Option suits you best, before you sign up. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you're still unsure.
We also offer a Flexi Payment option so you can pay your trip cost in as many instalments as you like to help spread the cost.
Terms & Conditions
As always it is really important you read the small print, in our case the Open Challenge Agreement, it is a standard agreement for the travel industry; it informs you about cancellation charges and also outlines other costs that we may have to pass on in certain instances. Please read the document carefully.
We also stress that it is really important you take out travel insurance at the time you book. It is not the purchase you make the week before you leave. If you have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances you may be eligible to make a claim.
