We know that the Discover Adventure crew plays a large part in making your trip enjoyable. Our leaders are all professional, friendly and experienced at running challenging trips all over the world, as well as being trained in first aid, mechanics, haggling, cocktail making and bad joke-telling to a high standard. Combined with the flexible, friendly approach of the office crew, it all adds up to making your trip a success.
Jonathan Bryan, founder and Managing Director of Discover Adventure, is now mainly office based but still makes time to lead the odd trip now and then!

The Crew: Our Leaders & Doctors
Our leaders work for us on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year. They are mainly based here in the UK and most have 'real' jobs inbetween trips! They are chosen to lead for Discover Adventure because they have a rare ability to inspire and lead groups of people, love travel and meeting people of all cultures, and know their stuff where safety in remote areas is concerned. If they can also fix bikes, speak a multitude of languages, exist with little sleep and still look energetic, negotiate baggage allowance with airlines and demonstrate a sense of humour at 5000m above sea-level, then we love them dearly.
On most trips we have at least one trip doctor to ensure your safety and wellbeing. Our docs are known for their medical professionalism, caring approach and ability to muck in with the rest of the crew and help make your trip run as smoothly as possible. Most of our docs fit our trips in around their GP or hospital duties and come back on our trips time and time again. They're a highly valued part of the DA team. |
