INTRODUCTION
The Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors are two of the most famous attractions in the world, and our cycling challenge links them to form a physically-demanding, culturally-fascinating bike ride through beautiful and little-visited areas of China.
We cycle 680km from a spectacular section of the Great Wall to Xian, the start of the famous Silk Road and close to the Terracotta Warriors. We cross many hills and valleys, passing through remote rural areas and booming towns, seeing the real China along the way. This is not only a journey linking two ancient wonders, but an unique insight into a rapidly-changing, fascinating country.
ALL OUR OPEN CHALLENGES ARE ADVENTUROUS AND CHALLENGING BUT ACHIEVABLE BY MOST PEOPLE PROVIDED THEY TRAIN WELL IN ADVANCE!
