Brownbread Horse Rescue

The Brownbread Horse Rescue Centre has over 100 volunteer Field Officers monitoring the SE where there may be equine abuse or neglect. The 60-acre Centre is also run mainly by volunteers and takes in animals where a dire emergency exists leading sometimes to the prosecution of the ex-owners. Our Field Officers will always attempt to befriend the owners and advise them in animal husbandry. All animals remain the property of the charity although may be loaned. Two annual Open Days, with 1,000 visitors, raise some funds but we need donations too. The Friends group, subscription £4pm, receives three newsletters p.a.
