Dogs for Good

Dogs for Good is an innovative charity, exploring ways that dogs can help people overcome specific challenges and enrich and improve lives and communities. We offer three main services:

Assistance Dogs – We train assistance dogs to help people lead more independent lives at home and in the community. Our Assistance Dog services support adults and children with physical disabilities, and children with autism and their families.

Community Dogs – We train and support activity and therapy dogs and their specialist handlers to work in schools and other community settings. In our Community Dog service we help adults and children to work on a range of personal challenges and develop life skills.

Family Dogs – We provide advice and support to people who want to explore the helping potential of a pet dog to overcome specific challenges in their family. Our PAWS Family Dog service provides workshops and ongoing support to families with a child with autism.
