Great Western Air Ambulance Charity

GWAAC have now carried out over 17,000 missions, with 1,735 in 2016, and roughly 4 incidents every single day. We respond to patients that need us throughout Bristol, BANES, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire. We carry a Critical Care Paramedic and Critical Care Doctor in our specialist transport, alongside equipment and drugs not found on a road ambulance. We are effectively a mobile emergency medical department. We were the first air ambulance in the South West to fly with doctors, and despite being one of the youngest in the country we are one of the busiest.
