Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer in the UK every 20 minutes and every minute blood cancer takes a life somewhere in the world. We are committed to increasing the number of potential stem cell donors in the UK, so that there is a donor for everyone who needs one.

For many blood cancer patients, a stem cell donation is their only chance of survival. Worldwide over 22 million people are registered as potential stem cell donors, but it is still not enough as only half of the people diagnosed in the UK find a matching donor.

It cost £40 to register each donor, and all the money we receive in donations and sponsorship is used to cover this cost.
