Dementia Adventure

Dementia Adventure is a UK-based charity founded in 2009. We believe in thinking differently about dementia, taking a positive approach that focuses on the individual rather than the condition. We look at what people can do, not what they can’t, concentrating on ‘the possible’. Through supported holidays, day trips and research-informed training, we help people with dementia and their carers stay active and connected to the outdoors. With the right support, people can continue doing the things they enjoy, remain independent for longer, and stay valued members of their communities and society.
