Designability

Established over 50 years ago, Designability is a charity which transforms the lives of children and adults living with a disability or long-term illness across the UK. Our engineering and design experts research, and develop products and assistive technology that meet real need. By working with our beneficiaries, their carers and health care professionals we find practical and stylish solutions tested in real life situations. We believe all design should be inclusive, enable greater happiness in everyday life, as well as increased independence. Our most well-known products is our Wizzybug, a powered wheelchair for children under 5 which is provided free of charge to families through a loan scheme and fully supported by voluntary donations.
