Developing Technologies (DT)

Developing Technologies (DT) is an innovative UK-registered charity working to alleviate the effects of chronic poverty in developing countries and reduce mortality through the design and free transfer of technology. DT’s emphasis has always been on sustainable development. DT designs, develops and delivers engineering solutions that can be locally manufactured and maintained enabling communities to become self-reliant in the long-term. Importantly, since many developing countries experience similar problems, our solutions have wide application.

Our aims are closely aligned with the Millennium Development Goals. We work on a wide range of projects such as ensuring villages have clean water, providing accessible transport for the sick and elderly in remote regions, improving educational facilities and equipment for school children and providing technology to enable local income generation.
