Enable Ethiopia

“Our Mission is to help break the poverty cycle in rural Ethiopia by financing community projects to improve health, infrastructure, agriculture and education so that communities become self sufficient”

The area the charity focuses its efforts in is the Simien Mountains in the Debark District or “Woreda”. This is in the North of the Amhara region in North Western Ethiopia. Debark is at high altitude, approximately 3,500 metres/ 12,000 feet and the climate and topography is very harsh. The farmers are extremely hard working and the whole community gives their labour to support our projects, maximizing the impact of the donations. We are aiming to provide clean water, education and health care for all.

We aim to raise $1mn to help provide funds for infrastructure and financing of projects for these hardworking people to make the first steps out of poverty and support themselves and their families.
