Face Everything And Rise

Face Everything and Rise (FEAR) was established in 2015 and works across the country to support children and adults who receive artificial nutrition (enteral or intravenous nutrition) or long term IV treatments (i.e.. Chemotherapy). We understand the difficulties and restrictions individuals face and aim to reduce these barriers. We hold monthly events, across the country, to bring the community together. Our activities include swimming, skiing, sailing, activity days and group holidays. In addition to our events, we lend specialised drysuits to individuals living with a central line. Without these specialised suits, these individuals are unable to experience the freedom of swimming. We provide support through the provision of specialised resources, equipment, a mental health support helpline and regular activities and meetings. We want to make sure that no one experiences their medical journey alone.
