Glass Door Homeless Charity

Glass Door is dedicated to alleviating poverty among street homeless people. We operate emergency winter shelter across West London, in partnership with churches that offer their buildings free of charge. We are supported by a vital team of volunteers who contribute over 10,000 hours to the night shelters every winter. Two-thirds of our guests come to us completely destitute with no home or any income whatsoever. We run two daytime drop-ins, and help homeless men and women find more stable futures with the support of our caseworkers. We believe we are the last open-access winter shelter and casework service in London; we help those who have nowhere else to go.
