Haemochromatosis UK

Haemochromatosis UK works to save lives and prevent serious ill health from genetic haemochromatosis (GH). GH is the UK’s most common inherited genetic condition that can lead to iron overload causing liver disease and cancer, diabetes, heart and bowel disorders, chronic fatigue and joint pain as well as a range of other serious physical and mental ill-health. We work across the UK to enable Research, spread Awareness, Educate health care professionals, support families with the condition and campaign on behalf of everyone affected. We are a small national charity working to make iron overload a thing of the past.
