Livability

Livability is a new charity, created by the recent merger of two well-respected charities: John Grooms and the Shaftesbury Society and is now one of the UK’s largest disability charities. Livability supports over 8,000 disabled people and their families throughout the UK each year, aiming to help them lead fulfilling, independent lives, and to maximise their own potential. We offer a wide range of innovative services that support and empower disabled people throughout their lives, including residential care, education, holidays, brain injury rehabilitation, and lifestyle support. We also provide community organisations with the resources, advice and confidence to impact their neighbourhoods.
