Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK (NMCF)

Nelson Mandela’s vision for the future and role in leading South Africa into a democratic era has made him an iconic leader. One of his first actions as President was to establish the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF).

NMCF works to support young people who come from impoverished backgrounds. Our programmes of work include: disability, child abuse, skills development, leadership & excellence and HIV/AIDS.

NMCF UK was established in 1996 and fundraises for 100’s of these development projects and plays a vital advocacy role in protecting and developing children’s rights.
