Osteopathic Centre for Children

The Osteopathic Centre for Children provides osteopathic treatment to children and mothers irrespective of a family's ability to pay. This is important since osteopathy usually costs between £35 and £50 which many families can’t afford. The OCC treats a variety of conditions from the less severe (eg back pain) to the more serious (eg cerebral palsy) and in 2012-2013 provided over 15,000 treatments. After treatment, families just donate what they can afford, which sometimes means nothing. Overall, 76% of children's parents report an improvement in their child's condition (or their own condition) which is of huge significance to affected families.
