Parents' Association for Seriously Ill Children (PASIC)

PASIC is a parent-led charity, based at Nottingham Children's Hospital. It provides practical, financial and social support to children and young people with cancer, their parents and carers. We help parents dealing with financial hardships as a result of needing to reduce or give up work to care for their sick child. We help children and their parents deal with the impact of diagnosis and the associated isolation of hospital stays and we improve the well-being and confidence of children and their families by arranging parties, social events and day trips. We also provide practical support, advice and signposting to other sources of assistance.
