PWSA UK is the only UK charity dedicated to providing vital support to individuals with Prader-Willi-Syndrome, a rare genetic condition which causes physical and mental disabilities throughout life. The major characteristics are a permanent feeling of hunger and consequential life-threatening obesity, learning disabilities and immature physical and emotional development. We are a small charity working nationally to support hundreds of people with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families and carers. We are a unique source of expertise used by doctors and clinicians and actively promote research into the condition.
