No parent should have to bury their child, but unfortunately with an estimated 49,000 terminally ill children living in the UK, thousands of parents live with this fear every day. React provides essential equipment and assistance to terminally ill children cared for by financially disadvantaged families to provide them with comfort, dignity and the opportunity to participate in life.

React is a rapid-response charity with a minimum amount of ‘red tape’ to enable vital aid to reach life-limited children as quickly as possible. This ranges from Specialist Medical Equipment to Essential Hygiene Ensuring items to Educational Aides. We also offer respite breaks in Mobile Homes and sadly funeral costs.
