The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army works at the heart of communities across the UK and Ireland. We have 650 churches and community centres where we offer friendship, practical help and support to some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and families. Or work includes homelessness, modern slavery and human trafficking, poverty, addiction, campaigning and social policy, older people, and community-based work such as debt advice, unemployment and isolation. Motivated by a commitment to care for those who are vulnerable and marginalised, we strive to empower individuals and strengthen local communities.
