Every day, thousands of young children across Africa, have their lives shattered by the death of a parent through HIV/Aids. Their turmoil begins before death, it starts while nursing their sick mother or father and enduring the insufferable agony of not being able to do anything to make and stop. Then being left completely alone, vulnerable and without hope.

Prince Harry set up Sentebale, in memory of his mother Princess Diana, to help the most vulnerable children in Southern Africa. Since we began, just four years ago, Sentebale (which means ‘forget me not’) has changed the lives of thousands of children through care, health and education – giving children hope and the opportunity to begin to enjoy their childhood.
