Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group

Originally set up as a support group in 1990 by local parents of children with Down Syndrome, Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group (Positive About Down Syndrome) officially became a Charity in May 2002 and now supports 65 families from Solihull and surrounding areas. The Group supports children and young people with Down Syndrome from birth to 19yrs, with emphasis on supporting the whole family. Support includes advice on form filling,transition into adulthood,speech and language therapy and fun days out. Support and sharing of solutions to problems can help ease feelings of isolation for families with a child with Down Syndrome.
