South London Cares

South London Cares is a community network based in Southwark and Lambeth. We recruit young professionals to offer practical support and human companionship to their older neighbours.

Our mission is to build relationships between people who may not normally interact. We aim to tackle isolation, bridge social divides and unite communities.

Our Love Your Neighbour programme matches volunteers who have a little spare time, to neighbours over 60 who would enjoy a little companionship.

Meanwhile, our Social Clubs - such as Film Nights, Cooking Sessions and Concert Trips - allow people to share skills, experiences and cultural exchange.
