St Gemma's Hospice

St Gemma’s provides compassionate and skilled specialist palliative care of the highest quality, both in the Hospice and in the Community. We recognise each person’s need for respect, dignity and independence as we care for adult patients, with active, progressive, advanced illnesses, and provide continuing support for their families and carers. Opening in 1978, we are the largest Hospice in Yorkshire and one of the largest in England. It’s a friendly, warm and safe place to be with expert services to support patients, families and friends. Care is focussed around the needs of the individual and we are respectful of all beliefs, religions and cultures.
