The Phoenix Stroke Club

The Phoenix Stroke Club in West Sussex supports individuals who have had a stroke or similar neurological condition, by providing a day club open 4 days a week where members can socialise together. The club aims to help people to regain their confidence and assist in recovery through a wide range of activities including a communications group, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, outings, a club holiday and other activities.

The club welcomes 15 members a day and is run by two part time staff and a group of volunteers who lead activities such as quizzes, baking, gardening, craft, exercises, and word games.
