The Society for Abandoned Animals

The Society for Abandoned Animals is a local animal charity who gained charity status in 1967. We care for and rehome unwanted cats, dogs and rabbits. Over a five year period we have successfully rehomed 158 Dogs, 938 cats, and 320 rabbits. Our animals are rehomed to caring families who can give them the love and support they deserve. It is our policy to carry out home checks on all potential new homes prior to adoption to give them the best possible start with their new families.

The SAA is funded with the support of individual donors, corporate partnerships and by our own fundraising activities.
