The Springboard Charity

The Springboard Charity helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people into work in hospitality, leisure and tourism. One of the main answers to relieving poverty is to provide the skills and opportunities for individuals to gain worthwhile employment. The changes to their lives are not just seen in the beneficiary, but in their families, friends and communities!

With the current numbers of unemployed reaching a record high – particularly in young people – Springboard is working harder than ever to train, mentor and support those looking to work in hospitality, leisure and tourism. With a wealth of opportunities available and being one of the only sectors in the UK still suffering from skills shortages, it is more important than ever to attract home grown talent into long term, career focused jobs in the sector.
