Our mission is to make the discoveries that defeat cancer. Your mission is to take on the challenge of a lifetime.
Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) to raise funds for research into male cancers. It was established in 1997 to address an urgent lack of funding for prostate and testicular cancer research. Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason why we set up the Everyman appeal in 1997 and they are the reason we are still fundraising for male-specific cancers today.
We have an unrivalled track record in drug discovery, personalised therapies and genetics. We also train the next generation of cancer researchers by providing postgraduate education of international distinction.
