Deaf Action

Hampshire Deaf Association has been providing services to deaf people for 130 years. Our services range from 1:1 support to enable a deaf person to reach their potential e.g. a University degree, providing play schemes for deaf children to facilitate integration with their peers, giving young deaf adults life skills opportunities, right through to residential care for elderly deaf people or those deaf people with additional disabilities. As CEO, I felt it was important that I am seen on the front-line raising money for an Association with values I believe in and as a child of profoundly deaf parents myself, it felt a rewarding way to give something back!
