SpecialEffect

SpecialEffect is dedicated to helping people with severe disabilities to have freedom via technology. This could be by playing a computer game with an adapted controller through to being able to tune into their favourite radio station or play music by the use of an eye control computer.

The focus of SpecialEffect’s work is enabling people with disabilities to enjoy computer games. SpecialEffect seeks to find a “way in” for those with disabilities via cutting edge technology, creating a level playing field where disabled young people can play the same games and have the same opportunities as everyone else.
